John Davarinos is a trainee lawyer at DS Legal, currently pursuing a MSc in Finance and Banking at the University of Athens . He earned his LL.B. from the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens and holds an exceptional secondary-school diploma from Ellinogermaniki Agogi. Alongside his legal studies, he has managed a personal multi-asset investment portfolio since 2018 and is preparing for the Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) certification—experience that sharpens his understanding of the financial drivers behind real-estate transactions. John has further strengthened his investment acumen through constantly participating in international seminars on cutting-edge legal and financial matters, such as artificial intelligence in finance and law, portfolio-risk management and digital assets.
John is a Greek and US citizen, with roots from Chicago. Fluent in Greek and English and conversational in German, he communicates effortlessly with international stakeholders. He assists international clients with every stage of Greek property and business establishment—from pre-transaction due-diligence and contract drafting to visa procurement, residence-permit applications and licensing of investment activities. His day-to-day work touches on civil, commercial, banking and land-registry matters, ensuring that overseas investors receive clear, business-oriented advice tailored to the local regulatory framework.
